  1. Why take out a subscription?

    Our subscription packs provide you with the choice of enjoying the newspaper in either the print or digital format. The various packs also provide you with a choice of how to receive your newspaper - from home delivery to collected from a shop or by download via the digital E-edition.

    As a subscriber you also receive exclusive VIP events, free offers and competitions through your membership to Plus+.

    All subscribers also receive access to the digital E-edition on PC, tablet or Smartphone.

  2. How does the subscription work?

    DELIVERED Pack - Your Newspaper will be delivered direct to your door on the day of publication. Please note, delivery will depend on the service availability to your home address.

    COLLECTED Pack - You will receive your pre-paid vouchers within 21 days, by post. Simply hand the relevant day’s voucher to the retailer as full payment for your Newspaper.

    DOWNLOAD Pack – The digital edition is an exact replica of the newspaper in an easy to read format accessed on your computer, tablet or smartphone via the internet. A website link is emailed to you when you subscribe. Just login using your email address and account number provided.

  3. How do I access the E-Edition as a DELIVERED or COLLECTED Subscriber?

    When you subscribe we will send a confirmation email with a website link for free access to the e-edition. Just log on to the site via the internet using your computer, tablet or smartphone and use your email address and account number to login.

  4. Where can I purchase the newspaper for the COLLECTED pack?

    The paper is widely available at most major retailers in the area. If you find your newsagent does not stock the paper, please ask them if they can order it in for you. If you still experience difficulty please call us and we’ll be happy to find a retailer in your area where you can redeem the vouchers.

  5. Do I need to renew my subscription?

    If you pay by Direct Debit, your DELIVERED pack subscription will continue until we are informed otherwise. For COLLECTED subscriptions you will automatically receive your new vouchers two weeks before your existing vouchers end.

    If you pay by credit card, we will notify you before your expiry with details of how to continue your subscription.

  6. How does Direct Debit continuous payment work?

    Subscriptions are continuous with Direct Debit and payment is taken every month. To calculate the monthly cost, we multiply the weekly price by 52 weeks and then divide this figure by 12 months to give a monthly cost. A Direct Debit payment will then be taken for this monthly cost. As this is a continuous payment method you are in complete control of your subscription as well as eliminating the need for renewal reminders.

  7. Is the online payment secure?

    Yes. We use SSL encryption software to keep the details of your order and payment information secure.

  8. How do you acknowledge receipt of my order?

    If you order online, we will acknowledge your order with a receipt at the end of the transaction and an email sent to the email address supplied. If you order by phone and have given us your email address, we will send you an email confirmation immediately. If you don’t have an email address we will write to you within a week.

  9. If I am a DELIVERED subscriber when will I receive my first copy home delivered?

    When placing your order you can select a start date for delivery to start.

  10. If I am a COLLECTED subscriber when will my first vouchers arrive?

    Please allow up to 21 working days for your vouchers to arrive by post. Subsequent vouchers will be delivered before the expiry of the last set of vouchers sent.

  11. What if I move home?

    If you are planning to move, please update your details online at www.newspapersubs.co.ukor by calling 0333 202 8000.

  12. I have my newspaper delivered by my local newsagent, can I still subscribe to the COLLECTED pack?

    Yes you can. You will need to pay your weekly delivery charge as normal but just hand the relevant vouchers to your newspaper retailer when you pay the delivery bill.

  13. What do you do with my personal information?

    We use the personal information you provide (eg name, address, email address, telephone number) to process your subscription order. When you subscribe we will ask you about receiving further offers from Trinity Mirror plc.

  14. Do you use ‘Cookies’?

    From time to time we may store ‘cookies’ (small files transmitted between server software and the browser on your computer) on your computer’s hard drive to make your use of the online subscription process easier. The personal information you provide (name, address, email, payment details etc) are stored on our secure server, not in a cookie.

  15. If I am a COLLECTED subscriber and I don’t receive my vouchers on time, what should I do?

    If for any reason your vouchers don’t arrive, please call 0333 202 8000. Please remember to notify us if you have changed address.

  16. Can I use my vouchers to pay for a different newspaper?

    No, your voucher can only be used on the day and for the newspaper title printed on it.

  17. What happens if I go on holiday?

    DELIVERED subscribers should notify us in advance of any holidays. Just visit www.newspapersubs.co.uk and login to your account where you can select the dates you are on holiday. If you don’t have access to the internet, call us on 0333 202 8000 so that delivery can be suspended while you are away. Please remember to give us a minimum of 4 days’ notice of a holiday stop. We cannot stop deliveries in any shorter time so they will be delivered and you will be charged for them.

    Unfortunately we are unable to issue refunds for unused vouchers for COLLECTED subscribers. Why not give your vouchers to a friend to try the newspaper while you are on holiday.

  18. How do I cancel my DELIVERED subscription?

  19. How do I cancel my COLLECTED subscription?

    If you pay by Direct Debit, you need to notify us of your cancellation a minimum of 4 weeks before the end of your current set of vouchers. Once your payment has been authorised we cannot refund any vouchers that are not used. Please call 0333 202 8000.

  20. As a DELIVERED subscriber what happens if my newspaper isn’t delivered?
